![]() ![]() Do not come here to see a movie you've been dying to see. Bring your sense of adventure and old fashioned fun. ![]() ![]() Bring blankets and sweatshirts because once the sun is gone it gets chilly, unless it's the middle of summer. Over all, it's worth going just for the experience as a whole. Too bad people can't clean up after themselves, but just watch where you step. There was some trash laying around, especially after the movie. The pavement there is very cracked with bumps and holes in spots, and in the dark you could misstep and trip. I'd suggest bringing a flashlight or cell phone light for trips to the bathroom. Also, it's near an airport and the occasional small plane or helicopter can be a bit distracting, but nothing too major. Some of the downsides to the experience are that other people around us were smoking and if you are sensitive to that, even being outside, that's something to keep in mind. There are also restrooms near the snack bar and the night we were there, they were clean. We didn't buy anything there, but the girl behind the counter was really nice, and gave us cups for ice water since we'd forgotten to bring something to drink. You can bring in coolers, snacks, drinks, etc. We brought chairs to sit on outside around our SUV which was nicer than all cramming in the back. Their website says that larger vehicles should park towards the back, but that doesn't always happen. Also, lots of people come in vans, SUVs, and trucks and park backwards to watch the movie, so there is a chance you view will be blocked if you are in a smaller car. That didn't happen to us, but I saw it happen to others. Keep in mind that there are always those last minute arrivals who think they are going to squeeze their car between you and the car next to you. By the time the movie started however, it was packed. We arrived at 7:00 and there were only 5 cars there. Perhaps because it was opening weekend, I'm not sure. Most movies are a double feature which also ups the value since you're watching two movies, but, we went to see Cinderella and that was playing solo. They run specials on Tuesdays were it's $5 per person for adults. It's a great deal if you have younger kids. It's a worthwhile experience if you know what to expect before going. My family and I went to the drive-in this weekend and had a nice time. ![]()
